I'd like to see what you were looking at. If your phone supports Bluetooth, you can probably use that to provide your signal to your pc. Your pc just needs to support bluetooth too. If you are afraid of using wifi at the phone, you can probably select Bluetooth-tethering when you enable the phone's mobile hotspot feature.
