Wow, I really honestly do have a cat (she's over 20+ years old now) who's first reaction to anything (and I mean _anything_) is to growl, spit, hiss and if she could, cuss whatever she encounters.  Ron and I bust out laughing when this old goat of a feral cat encounters us here in the house - and it doesn't seem to matter that we are the only reason she is still alive today hahaha

She sleeps under our bed some nights, and I swear I hear her fissing at the bedboards or something some evenings :)  :)
