On June  13, my wife fell and fractured both her wrists.  (Both the ER 
and the GP concurred in having her wear matching forearm-to-thumb 
splints; the orthopedist took them off.) The accompanying 
time-while-immobilized -  I no longer drive, either, nor do I cook, due 
to my illness  - has caused me to ask myself what the proper role is, in 
cases like  this, of the church, vs. the government. In this  case, the 
local congregation brought and served  us meals.

This is, really, a topic for Practical  Christian Living!
