Since you said your outgoing packet was in AmigaNet.027, try changing your 
domain line for Amiganet to:

domain amiganet /fido/amiganet 2

I vaguely remember Crashmail II's config, but there may be an option (or even 
changing something you already have) where it won't add the hex extension to 
the directory.. but this should at least fix your issue for now and send out 
your outgoing mail for Amiganet.

I really only needed the "domain" lines, to see how you were doing it. No 
worries, the above should fix it for you.
