Yes, bbbs does create the file ithaca from the door when I run it. It's a very 
long file, 3 days worth of weather stats IIRC.

BBBS does not create shortith though.

For windows, the curl command might be a little different, I'll check that out 
later and let you know.  You are running Windows, right?
