My problem was that BBBS doesn't seem to release the telnet nodes after getting hammered so much... So your bbbs log gets filled with "No more free nodes!" with each attempt to connect. You have to reset the bbbs telnet daemon when that happens, but under Linux it doesn't crash to the OS as is happening to Robert... > I'm just glad we use binkp to transfer mail... If people were still using > mailer over telnet we'd all be in a pickle. ;) Oh yeah, that is so true :) Well, the good news is, since I switched to a non-stanard telnet port, all is quiet and good --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Dada-2 * Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38) .
