(-: PQ> Now, googlegroups used to send me daily "digests" of NASA posts in PQ> two newsgroups which worked well from March 2010 to September PQ> 2011. (I never used their on-line groups cr#p, except to config PQ> an email tunnel thing into a local echo.) google has been (and continuies) bugging me to install Chrome, which I refuse to do and worse, they discontinued google ig this month for who knows what reason. We don't need no steenkin' Chrome as long as we have FireFox. And Apple is even worse. [Rant mode on] I received 5 (count 'em) app upate notices for my cell phone, but in order to install them, I have to, at my age, read 54 screens full of their new policy and agree to the totality of it or the updated apps won't install. Did you ever in your life have to try to do that on a cell phone? I wouldn't try even if my vision were 20/20. So, without knowing, they have given me something to complain about and I'm doing that on Monday. You're probably wondering why I won't read the new policy on their web site, right? The answer is because of the enormity of what I have to read. I think 54 pages to read is a ridiculous assumption on their part because it would have been much simpler just to make available the "new stuff" and agree to it. [Rant mode off] PQ> Suddenly, on 2 Sep 2011, nothing came through the pipeline and PQ> I've seen nothin more since till the night of 29 October 2013! LOL! PQ> Yep, you guessed right. I received _a_ digest, containing posts PQ> for the previous week! Evidently, something in the plumbing at PQ> Google cleared momentarily. :) We could blame that on George W Bush. (-: PQ> I count myself lucky to have this echo as a primary source of PQ> NASA-related news. The only time I go on-line for NASA-related PQ> stuff these days is to follow-up on EwwToob flick links posted PQ> herein. I had to change it from what it was because I don't believe in that paranormal stuff, and while at one time I thought mankind was the only species capable of space travel, and that the universes are there for us to explore, that line of thought has swung 180 degrees. However, I am very glad that our Solar System isn't any nearer to the center of the Milky Way galaxy. PQ> Thanks, Roger. Any time, pal. As long as I'm breathing the posts will contimue. PQ> ... Old swimmers never die, they just fall off their blocks. --- ....I read Paul Quinn's messages for the taglines.
