My wife and I were in Indy for Gencon the weekend BEFORE the eclipse and were driving home the day of. Yes, we did that on purpose, since our 'driving home path' crossed the line of totality. We left in plenty of time and got to a good spot several minutes before totality and boy it was a sight!!! To see a total eclipse has been on my bucket list since before I knew what a bucket list was. :-) ....
