Subj : NASA News - RETRACTION To : Roger Nelson From : Paul Quinn Date : Thu Apr 11 2019 12:37:05 Hi! Roger, On 10 Apr 19 19:49, you wrote to me: PQ>>> There will be some form of FB thing happening. What's FB? RN> That still makes me suspicious. Same, same. For the present I've opted for bookmarking a site that (sounds like it's...) similar to their original (pre-2007?) webforum, in the closing announcement comments. For a recommendation I would nominate either of two Ubuntu-based iterations from April last year (their 18.04 LTS releases). I'm running both at present: with 'Xubuntu' desktops on both PCs here, with one of them running a 'Lubuntu' VM in VirtualBox... which may replace the Fidonet *function* on this PC. Both distro versions are "reviewed" by a bloke named 'DistroTube' on YT, who goes through the installation procedure on each and has some fun with installed software. Both are about 20 minutes runtime, and are entertaining as well as informative. (Four stars out of five, each.) Cheers, Paul. ....
