This was some time ago, and I didn't really understand how to determine the FLAC compression details. Now I do; AnyConverter seems to offer viewing compression levels and selecting them. Prior to that I simply took it for granted that FLAC was FLAC. Anyway.. I decided that I wouldn't really be interested in playing raw FLAC files on those devices anyway. My plan is to eventually commission a spare PC to be my media player connected to the hifi. I'm far from that point still. Spotify is making me a little lazy to proceed. That would save me the trouble of converting them! Just let me know where I can grab a few files and I'll try them on the aforementioned XP machines. -- ../|ug --- OpenXP 5.0.51 * Origin: (2:221/1.58) .
