Same here.  I first heard it on the radio when they (CBC Radio One) were doing 
a week long tribute show on TV show theme songs.  I immediately liked it 
especially after hearing the real story behind it.

Yes.  The line made an impression on me ... along with the rest of the song.  
It is definetly worth a listen or two.
