Sorry for butting in again but neither the subject nor the toUserName exceeds 
the allocated characters, or bytes for that matter, as demonstrated by;

  echo "Tutte Hermsgervørdenbrøtbørda" | wc --{chars,bytes}

which will report "     30      33", or would have if this were a proper linux
terminal.  You were shy 3 bytes.
