A slight wrinkle as I heard on the radio the other day about a Surrey 
(Vancouver) distillery claiming to have started a single malt whiskey.  Mind 
you it'll be at least another decade before they can hope to have something 
worthy of competing on the shelves.

And?  Myself I just heard of it's existance about a week before you brought it 
up.

Unfortunetly not as there was too much assistance in trying it out.  It got 
very good local reviews but I was hoping it would have survived until at least 
Christmas, which I believe will be a dry one this year.  I've got absolutely 
nothing planned for this Christmas.

The 15yo is still safe and is patiently awaiting for the next 25 days to pass.
