I have yet to try it but the last time I did such a thing on the big guy (8 core Atom running at 2.4GHz) it was taking about 10's of microseconds. Bottomline is we need to be thinking about nanoseconds if we use just one machine to add DateTime stamps for all concerned such as a packer like Husky Project's hpt. I believe that is the one to beat these days. Life is good, Maurice .... Don't cry for me I have vi. --- GNU bash, version 5.1.0(1)-release (x86_64-motorshed-linux-gnu) * Origin: Little Mikey's Brain - Ladysmith BC, Canada (1:153/7001) .
