However given the 'nice MK> little' preceding purchase I am guessing it is desirable in your case. True. It wasn't a budget strain, it was just the closest conversation I could jump into that would be on topic. ;) NB>> I'll get more into detail when I have more time MK> I'll be here. I'm fairly certain I'll be ditching both Rpi3's in the near future. I just got the winning bid (the only bid!) on ebay for an HP Proliant ML310e Gen8 server, 3.3ghz Xeon quad core processor, 32gb ram, 2x1TB hd's in raid 1, onboard raid controller, iLO, all the bells and whistles. I was actually surprised it came with Windows Server 2012 R2 activated, but I wiped it anyways.. cuz it's Windows. ;) Been tinkering for the past few days. I've never messed with a server before, so I've gone through a LOT of trial and error (mostly error). But I'm getting more comfortable with it, and am now testing out VMWare ESXi as well as Proxmox (currently). There will be many virtualizations in my future. ;) Regards, Nick .... "Не знаю.
