I do think it's nice that some mailers were created to actually work with the nodelist, rather than forget about it completely. Binkd kind of went off and did it's own thing. Then again, not having to rely on a nodelist to keep things up-to-date or working properly is kinda nice, too. The best part I think in all of this is that we've had developers in the past and present to give us choices in what we want to use. Whatever works best for you, go with it.
