There'd be some overhead sure. vBox would require some for itself, and a meg for eack vBox it rus IIRC. You might just do it. Alternatively, Puppy Linux needs only ~100Meg RAM for itself. I used to run Puppy+vBox on an old P-III (which is itself now a vBox running in Ubuntu). There's a few extra steps doin' in with Puppy, though.
