Mostly in the past I was only a user, so if my name or handle appeared in the
From field was out of my control, so it's not something I ever really thought
about. 

Now, I am setting the Fido echos I link to as real names, because I have
noticed it is a fairly common requirement.

I still don't realky understand why it is though. But I don't need to.
