As with collectibles, people also have very strong feelings about foods from 
their past.  Sometimes these special recipes get lost.  This section is to help 
people who are looking for lost recipes from their past.  If you submit a 
request, please include the geographical region where you tasted the recipe.  
If you have a vintage recipe request send it to recipes@tias.com and we might 
just publish it here.

Here's a vintage recipe sent in from a reader.

Icebox Dessert

A layer of vanilla wafers in a 8- x 8-inch
 or 8-x 12-inch baking dish
Covered with a layer of chocolate pudding. Repeated with another layer of 
vanilla wafers And another layer of chocolate pudding. Chilled in the 
refrigerator,
Then topped off with a generous layer of whipped cream. Kids young and old 
loved it, and it was easy on the cook.
