As with collectibles, people also have very strong feelings about foods from 
their past.  Sometimes these special recipes get lost.  This section is to help 
people who are looking for lost recipes from their past.  If you submit a 
request, please include the geographical region where you tasted the recipe.

Anyone remember this one?

Fruit Cocktail Cake

Mix well:
1 3/4 c sugar
3 c. flour
1 3/4 tspn soda
1/2 c frozen orange juice (right from can) 2 eggs
1 tspn salt
2 tspn vanilla

then add drained large can [sorry, mom didn't say size of "large"] of fruit 
cocktail

Top with 1/2 c brown sugar and 1/2 c chopped nuts

Bake 350 30-45 min. Top with Cool Whip when serving
