There's a Quickstartup Guide that DS> comes with the 2 CDs -- all Eyetech references. I seem to recall he said he bought from whatever company Dave Haynie is working for now? Pretty sure, on the east coast, but can't provide any more info. :-( Maybe asking too much, but it just seems to me he should have gotten a machine all ready to plug in and begin using! But, my previous experience with Linux isn't too much different from his. It was a couple of years ago though and I had hoped that things were much improved by now. As I recall I could at least get the desktop to appear but it was 'garbled'. That too was a case of no support for the video card. I did manage to find an update but then couldn't figure out how to install it. ---------------------------------------------------------- wendell@eskimo.com | http://www.eskimo.com/~wendell/ --- THOR 2.6a (Amiga;TCP/IP) * Origin: DuhGate Internet<->Fido - mail fido@duh.org for info (1:3613/44.0) .
