It seems a bit sad to me that they couldn't provide him with a > fully working (Linux) system! Sorry, I've already forgotten wich Linux > it was. and even who he bought his system from. I took a picture of the > Logo, but it came out blurry. :-( The AmigaOne, came with 2 CDs -- A1 Installer & Debian Linux 3. Even those who just bought the mobo, got them. I got mine from Compuquick in Ohio. All this sounds unusual. I've installed all the software on the system. There's a Quickstartup Guide that comes with the 2 CDs -- all Eyetech references. Here's some boot args right from the guide: ". For an ATI Radeon 7000, 7500, 8500, or 9000 graphics card: setenv bootargs root=/dev/hda2 video=radeon:1024x768-8@70 l2cr=0x80000000 . For Voodoo 3,4, or 5 graphics card: setenv bootargs root=/dev/hda2 video=tdfx:1024x768-8@70 l2cr=0x80000000 . For ATI Rage 128 graphics card: setenv bootargs root=/dev/hda2 video=aty128fb:1024x768-8@70 l2cr=0x80000000 " (AmigaOne-XE Quickstart Guide [Debian Linux-PPC] v1.4 10-May-2003) The Debian logo looks like the scroll end of a violin or chello!
