Gonna buy one for my A2000. Well, I enjoy my X-Surf 100 as well, especially as it is faster than the Hydra, but when I would have an Ariadne inside of an A2000 I don't think I would consider using an X-Surf 100, except for the reason of having the USB stuff working as well. OTOH I already have a broken Ariadne that looses it's MAC address for some unknown reason. So, in an A2000 you won't get much speed improvements over an Ariadne, because of ZorroII bus. If you're looking for attaching USB stuff, than I would say: go for it! It's not that you'll get full 100 Mbit/s in ZorroIII mode either. It will silghtly faster than a 10 Mbit/s card, but it's new hardware, it has USB connectivity and it supports one of the few still existing Amiga hardware vendors. :-) PS: last week I enjoyed a visit to Stockholm, mostly walking around Gamlastan. Only bad thing was that we didn't had enough time to visit Hard Rock Cafe, before we needed to get back onto our cruise ship. :-) Ingo --- GoldED+/LNX 1.1.5--b20170303 * Origin: AmigaXess - back in FidoNet after 17 years (2:2452/413) .
