I'd have to give it a try. Alas, I'm so overrun with work that I'm currently
using the online stuff from MBSE as a ssh session from work is about the only
thing I can do right now.

UAE is a good emulator, but doesn't get everything...

apt-get ain't too difficult, but I actually prefer rpm or emerge from gentoo.
Actually, the good old Amiga Installer wasn't a bad thing neither, it just
couldn't compile programs like some Linux install routines do.

But then, we usually got the binaries....the good old days of working 
software
and when compiling was a non-issue.
