Subj : VGA Adaptors To : David L. Stevens From : Andy Ball Date : Thu Jun 19 2003 16:46:14 Hello David, DLS> Look for scandoublers or PicassoII or PicassoIV > boards. I was thinking more of small (probably passive) adaptors. They may just route the appropriate pins from the Amiga's video connector to a VGA one, but perhaps there are resistors to drop the video signal voltages to VGA levels. On an ECS Amiga that would let me run 'productivity mode', although a scan-doubler would be nice to let me see NTSC & PAL screens too. I have a friend that went through one or two Picasso boards. I was impressed with his, but my only Zorro-equipped Amiga is in Britain. Thanks for the pointers! DLS> Also, try Fido AmigaSale. It could use some traffic. I'm not sure whether the BBS I use carries that one. It's tricky to figure out which conference maps to which echo because of the way they're labelled.
