wonderfull debug that program needs, author is not on fidonet anymore ?

can you start amibinkd as server from telnet ?

its imho more that trapdoor does NOT resolve phonefield in traplist to ip 
number that is the biggest problem

eg you need to update traplist each time before calling with trapdoor so its 
up2date from hostname to dns ip, and trapdoor only supports ipv4, with all this 
in mind its working if phone number is translated to ip in traplist
