Your lucky.. 2m/440 is just dead around here except for some repeater nets and 
those don't get much activity either.  in fact I sold my Yaesu ft2900R last 
spring because I just go frustraited with the band (and a couple old jerks that 
spioled it too..
 I ALMOST bought a used 2m rig this week, but had to keep reminding myself what 
2m was like and that I'd be better off spending the money on my model trains.. 
:) I do have a little UV5R HT that I can use if i feel like it...
