It's illegal to not use the port of entry; they aren't hummingbirds returning
from Columbia. If anyone can just walk over here when they feel like it, then
who are they escaping from? Asylum from what? Which government in central
america (mainland) is being oppressive besides Venezuela? 

Obama admitted "they're just folks looking for a better life" but that
doesn't make them a "political refugee." I'm looking for a better life too -
am I a "political refugee?"
