It isn't good for the people who want to buy them.  Last I heard, some tech
manufacturers are leaving China but not for the USA.  They are going places
where the labor is cheaper and the tariffs are lower.

For Apple specifically, I have not read about it in a few days, but the
last I read there was skepticism that the iphone would ever actually be
completely manufactured in the USA.
