Why would I do that (nor do I know how to do that).  I see nothing wrong
with the articles I have seen, nor what you quote, nor what I said.

So -- as you say, Gibraltar is a territory of the UK, i.e. it is part of
the UK.

That may be, but is also considerably later than the time I was talking
about from my personal experience in the early 1970's.  If Gibraltar
wants to become independent -- so be it, but what you quote implies that
has not yet happened.

I have no idea what you are talking about there.  I have no knowledge of
a fake TLD .gi.
