 True, sort of.  Abortions after 24 weeks may only be carried out if the life 
or health of the mother is in danger. This is extremely rare after 24 weeks as 
the fetus is usually viable and can be delivered in most cases.  It can also be 
performed if it is decided the fetus is not viable and will not survive outside 
the womb upon delivery.

 Here's that knee-jerk outrage that people are so fond of.

 In my experience, some conservatives want to protect the life of a child up to 
birth, after birth, screw 'em, they should pull themselves up by their 
bootstraps and get a job if they can't be fed.
