My great-grandfather never owned a car, and never bothered to learn
how to drive. He had two feet, and was a cobbler. Made plenty shoes.
As many as he needed to get wherever he wanted. Along with plenty of
time. How else do you think he and my great-grandmother managed to
make 13 kids?
