You still do not understand.   The current impeachment process against
Trump is for asking a foreign government to help him get reelected, and
furthermore making the delivery of aid to that government which had been
approved on by both houses of Congress contingent on them delivering
dirt that might help him win the election.   There are two counts there,
both equally serious.  Using the funds voted on by Congress in an
extortion attempt and soliciting aid from a foreign government in a USA
election.   This is clearly against federal law.  You should be able to
understand that.
