Actually, their nations are not part of the USA, even though included
within its boundaries -- it's complicated.

A. Elizabeth Warren has not said that she is native American, she has
said that she has a native American heritage.  She does not have a
tribe.  What she has said is true of many people.  Somewhere in their
past five or six generations there was a native American ancestor.  Some
deny that, and some embrace it.
