You are over stating the situation, and its causes.

And Cummings (who just happens to be my Congressman) is not solely
responsible for the conditions referred to in Trump's tweet, nor are
those conditions unique to Baltimore.  Some of the substandard housing
in Baltimore is owned by the Trump family.  Much of Trump's city of New
York has similar problems.  As Cummings said, he works for the people of
Baltimore and has much to be proud of in his district -- and that things
do still need to be improved.

They are not using 9/11 to attack Trump, they are attacking his lies and
self centered exaggerations about 9/11.  Every statement has to have
something about himself.
