Due to the nature of web browsers (creating multiple HTTP connections per page request) and modern Web UI maintaining sessions, it may appear that there's more HTTP/HTTPS use of a Synchronet system, but gauging by the posted *content* (e.g. messages) on a BBS, they mostly come in via Telnet. Still, many of those may come via the web sockets proxy to Telnet, which would mean the end user is actually use a web browser. -- digital man (rob) Synchronet "Real Fact" #19: The first Synchronet BBS (Vertrauen) went live in July of 1991 (replacing WWIV) Norco, CA WX: 69.2øF, 44.0% humidity, 6 mph NW wind, 0.00 inches rain/24hrs --- þ Synchronet þ Vertrauen þ Home of Synchronet þ [vert/cvs/bbs].synchro.net .
