Synchronet already supports the swapping of the DEL (ASCII 127) and Backspace (ctrl-H) codes upon input:
`[T] Terminal Mode                : Auto CP437 / ANSI (color) DEL=BS `

Is the user's terminal configuration in SBBS already set this way?
