With Cumcast, I had internet and basic cable TV. Their basic cable TV was crap though - They had me using a cable box that outputted a standard-definition square picture. I realized I could get a decent over-the-air signal where I was that provided a better-looking picture, and it was widescreen. I called Comcast to cancel my basic cable TV, but they said my bill would actually increase if I did that. I think bundle pricing is fairly common with other providers though. I'm currently using Ziply Fiber (formerly Frontier, until Ziply bought them several months ago - and Fronter bought the fiber from Verizon about 10 years ago). I've been fairly happy with it, and I like that I get the same speed for both upload and download. Nightfox --- þ Synchronet þ Digital Distortion: digitaldistortionbbs.com .
