I have several relatives that are regional if you use the regional in a
larger tense.  Instead of a half hour away, some are several hours away, yet
in the same state.  I live4 on the west coast of southwest Michigan, and on a
clear day with binoculars see building in Chicago from the beach.  Some of my
relatives moved closer to Detroit and in the bottom of the thumb or further up
 the mitten for work, yet the cousin living outside of Chicago others in
norther Indiana have a much shorter drive.
