We'll see how things pan out... NYC seems to be quite worrying too. If the NYPD
lose a billion dollars of their budget, crime will rise back to the levels we
saw in the 1980s. These sort of kneejerk decisions are going to have long-term
political and economic repercussions. It'll be interesting if these cities end
up begging for Federal assistance... however some politicians would rather cut
off their nose to spite their face.
