Usually the built support for formatting the USB drive works then Windows has built-in support for opening an ISO image with the file explorer which you can then just copy all the files from the ISO to the USB drive with. > Would I be able to just copy the dvd that i have already to the usb drive on > another pc, this one doesnt have a dvd player. You're talking about the Slackware installation ISO? Don't they normally have instructions for how to create a bootable USB stick for installing the OS (e.g. what file system, FAT32, GPT or MBR boot record, etc.)?
