yeah.. probably the tail end of that generation i'd guess

this one is an i5-3550. which according to google is from 2012. the one i got
is still available on eBay for $99, but i had to get a hard drive for it (it's
pretty common for lenovos to be from bigger companies so they destroy the
hard drives and send the rest to refurbishers).

sounds like you're a bit like me.. i clung to OS/2, Windows 2000, Windows XP,
Windows 7, and probably will Windows 10 too..
