I recall it being very similar at the end of 2017... then the 
bit/alt-coin market crashed and things normalized.  Wanting current RTX 
for some AI/Upscaling I want to run on some older content, but not 
willing to pay 2-3x list price to scalpers.

Apparently newegg is supposed to be switching to a lottery draw for 
their video cards... saw an article last week on it.
