It's been okay... the router has been stable, once configured, I have had to reset the AP a couple times... I have another AP in the box and want to get them both mounted in the next couple months, right now it's sitting in the upstairs loft by my desk on a shelf... there's a couple low-signal places in the house at the other end, but should be resolved once ceiling mounted and the other AP mounted on the other side of the house. There are better options out there, Level 1 techs on youtube did some reviews iirc a few months ago. Ubiquiti is on the "supported" list of hardware for my fiance's work phone (which she has had issues with) so it's the one that wasn't crazy priced that I went with. My work laptop is connected via hardwired z3 vpn device. No issues on the wired connection and only had to reset the AP once or twice in the past 7 months or so since I switched over. Aside: the AP management software is wacky, and I'll have to reset the AP when I get ready to mount, planning on running the mgt software on an rpi. I forgot my passphrase on the AP mgt software on my desktop, and too lazy to reset and recover for now. -- Michael J.
