 Thanks for that MRO. If I had the space I'd love to go back to a desktop. Right now it's not an option. Now I have 7 laptops on my wish list with your suggestion. I'm trying to understand why I should get a refurb when I can get new for the same price. I emailed one of the sellers today asking that very question. I have a feeling warantee is gonna come in to play. Thats part is VERY important to me. I have to be able to send it back without a hassle I have a problem. I've believe Amazon has a 3 month no questions policy and up to a year on all machines they sell. My last NEW laptop wans an HP. I loved it until a spilled coffee on it and killed it. How long has your GF had the HP you got her? Is she a heavy user? I know heat is a big factor to consider too. ACK! lol Thanks
