My current one is a T43. I can't say they have been utterly unreliable, but the one I have now I purchased second hand in 2014 and still runs great today, albeit a bit slow. I chose the thinkpad primarily due to it appearing a good choice for Linux users. ThinkWiki is an invaluable site. ....
