Cool! :) I did it a bit in high school, typically, the 100m, 200m, 4x100m relay and triple jump. Didn't have the money or justification for spikes back then. My HS years were 1980 - 1986, and the last 4 years were my best ones. These were the years after football training brought my sprint capabilities ut. I also do the occasional outdoor pentathlon or decathlon. :) Have won state Masters medals in the 100 and 200m (bronze) this year. Also won medals in the hurdles, but only because not too many are silly enough to attempt them. :D Got through my heats and made the final of the 60m and 200m at this years Australian Masters. No medals this time, but it was my first attempt at that level. ZM> I still have the actual spikes i had (longs and shorts) but not the ZM> shoes. Wish i kept the shoes. My last pair screamed 80's. My middle distance spikes are Asics, but for sprints, I prefer Saucony - stiffer plate, gives me more spring off the track, and I can really feel the difference at the top end of my speed range. ....
