I have a UPS device, but as noted, no amount of surge protection will stop damage from a lightning hit...which could cause a fire. And, having been struck twice by lightning (indirectly, but I still got the shock, and have nervous system damage as a result), I don't want the third time to be "the charm". Daryl ....
