Yeah, I was watching something about the tide pod challenge a few weeks
ago, when it was all the rage in the media.  One thing they mentioned was
that, in the past, younger people tended to value things like kindness,
intelligence, etc., but now they are supposedly more likely to value fame
over anything else.

The person reporting this also mentioned that they cannot enjoy that bit of
"youtube fame" if consuming the pods kills them.

I think they want the fame, no matter what, without thinking about any
consequences.
