I wouldn't want to hear someone imitating Neil, that wouldn't feel right. Someone coming in and adding their own sound to songs that we all have knit into our bones will be interesting. It reminds me of Jake E. Lee coming in to replace Randy Rhoads in Ozzy's band. If they'd gotten someone to try and emulate his style, it wouldn't sound authentic. Lee said in interviews that he almost felt compelled to avoid the classic licks he knew that were reminiscent of Randy Rhoads' playing - and Ozzy got a couple of great albums out of it. --- MultiMail/Win v0.52 þ Synchronet þ .: realitycheckbbs.org :: scientia potentia est :. .
